About the Restaurant
Situated on the bustling, busy Quay of Poole, Las Margaritas has been established for well over seven years and has become a favourite gathering place for both tourists and locals alike.
Starting out as a 50 seat restaurant way back in 1992, within just four years we had responded to local demand and expanded the business. We are now able to cater for and seat around a 100 people.
It has been our goal since the outset to provide a traditional Mexican environment, but you will not find linen table cloths, crystal glasses and tired old gypsy king tapes playing at Las Margaritas. Instead we have created a cantina reminiscent of a tropical Mexican beach bar, decorated with murals of Mexican scenes, paper mache masks and authentic Mexican artefacts.
In order to bring the taste of Mexico to the
South of England, we have visited over 100 different Mexican restaurants throughout Mexico, the South Western States and Canada.
At Las Margaritas we bring you the best of what we have tasted, both in food, cocktails and tequilas and not forgetting that we aim to bring the best of Mexican cuisine alive for the Vegetarian eaters amongst us.
