I grew up with my family and a gang of Chihuahuas in Norfolk and still cannot imagine life without them. I married and moved to Yorkshire in 1967 with Lilycroft Lizette (that I bought from my mother in 1966) and her daughter Oakcroft Liesel; I took my own interest in the Lilycroft affix around this time. I soon had thirteen chihuahuas because I only parted with two (one to my neighbour and one to her sister). I love owning them and even though I really enjoy bringing up an occasional litter of puppies I have never really enjoyed breeding them as I find it a wrench to part with the puppies. Showing was always the part I found most fun and lately it has been very special ! I also judge Longcoats and Smoothcoats at Championship level.
