"A Single Flower"
Earth was under threat,
From the mightiest of weather,
People ran for cover,
Animals huddled together.
Everything destroyed,
By this anger from the skies,
Apart from one tiny flower,
That somehow had survived.
A gentle breeze blew,
The calm after the storm,
Carrying the seeds far and wide,
Till many more flowers had grown.
That tiny single flower,
Standing bravely against all odds,
Had given back to the world,
Natures gifts from god.
So when you feel alone,
And lose sight of your own worth,
Remember how a single flower,
Re-adorned the earth.
