"Natural "high" "

Sit here by this waterfall with me,
it`s not JUST a waterfall you see,
it is life and sparkle, essence, dew,
energy, force and sheer beauty too,
move in closer, now close your eyes,
feel splashes of water, bubble and rise
tickling your face, splashing your skin
making you laugh like a child again.
breath in the air let it dampen your nose,
take off your shoes and dangle your toes,
lay back and listen to the wonderful sound
of gurgling water rushing around.
let your body relax, your mind float away
forget all your troubles for one more day
let go of the stress, the worries, the pain
for all of those things are a waste with no gain
In a world full of drink and drugs used to get by
we forget that nature provides her own "high".
she gives to us freely it`s ours just to take
but we abuse her gift, this is our mistake
for if nature were to remove her natural high
us ungrateful humans would curl up and die..
