"Questions and Answers"

Do we belong together?...
we believe we do,
So many things against us,
yet still we battle through,
Can we face all this?...
yes our eyes are open wide,
We have always promised honesty,
we have never lied,
Do we see this clearly?...
the harsh and cruel reality,
even though our love is strong
we know it can`t be free,
Can we feel each others pain?...
so many miles apart,
Oh yes we feel it deeply,
we are each others heart.

How did we get here?...
there was no scheme, no plan.
He wasn`t looking for a woman,
I wasn`t out to find a man,
Where are we going?...
neither of us know,
We didn`t mean to fall in love,
we didn`t think that it would grow,
Have we got the answers?...
to all the questions asked above,
The truth is no we havent,
we only know we are in love,
Maybe we hide behind our happiness,
pretend it`s all okay,
We tell each other now and then
that we`ll talk it through one day

Should we end it now?....
it`s too hard we`re in too deep,
Without him in my life
I can`t eat or breath or sleep,
Won`t it just get worse?...
with the passing of more time
I`ll have to face the cold hard truth
that he can never be just mine,
So what will we do?....
we cannot fight we cannot win.
He wants to meet me very soon,
and I can`t wait to be with him,
And when we are together.....
on that very special night,
We will melt into each other
until everythings alright.

We`ll forget about tomorrow.....
let our love live day to day,
Throw our worries through the window,
toss our cares away,
Our love is strong and can survive.....
of that we have no doubt,
Whatever fate decides to send,
we`ll stay together, sort it out,
And yes this may be a part time love..
of stolen memories and time,
But I will always be his love
and I know his heart is mine,
If we had known all this would happen....
we`d travel back in time...and then,
We`d search high and low to find each other...
and we`d do it all again.
