Pale gossamer moonlight
shone delicately on you
tracing the outline of your face
casting a shadow of pale blue,

Not another sound invaded
the peaceful quiet air
only the softness of your breathing
as you slept beside me there,

I watched you dream
and in that moment I could see
That the reason for my being
was laying next to me,

My heart was overflowing
with a love so very strong
and my soul searched no more
to find where it belonged

I didn`t want to spend
one second of my life without you
so I snuggled in and fell asleep
so I could be in your dreams too.

1. To email this or any other web page on the internet.
