"Special Moment"

Oh romance was lingering
In the atmosphere that night,
You stood gazing out to sea,
As you held my hand so tight.

Colours appeared around us,
The ground looked ebony,
Against the white lace waves
Cast up by the sea.

Delicious syrup sticky love,
Together we did drink,
From rose coloured glasses,
That made the air look pink.

And dazzling sparks like fireworks
Enhanced the starlit sky,
As you told me for the first time,
That you would love me till you die.
