Where You Took Me
You took me way up,
you made me soar so high
like a comet shooting gracefully
through a vast sky.
speeding through distance,
darkness, light and space
whizzing round dizzily
in another time and place
You put me to live
in heaven with the stars
made a soft bed for me
on red hot Mars
spun me all around
on saturns little hills
protected me warmly
against the moon chills
You took me on heady,
crazy, beautiful flights
to look down on earth
from such incredible heights,
singing and dancing
up and down the milkyway
chasing away the black holes
from my yesterdays
You took all the stars
and placed them carefully in my eyes
I sat on billowed clouds with you
and we watched life go by
thats where you took me
when you blessed me with your love
right out of this world
to the glossy universe above.
