Roxy Music appear in 'Thunderbirds'?
In-jokes are a staple of comic book art. Or at least they are for me. Various issues of 'Thunderbirds' Magazine feature Roxy Music, my favourite band.
What you see here is a compendium of images featuring some of their appearances in various issues.

Aren't those drumsticks in that oil-rigger's hand? Do the letters TGPT stand for The Great Paul Thompson? Will mighty guitarist Phil Manzanera pull off a mask, lose a foot in height and stand revealed as a grumbling, strategically-oblique bald man? Could enigmatic saxman Andy Mackay ever have taken a role in the oil industry? Would Bryan Ferry have appreciated International Rescue's intervention in his recent near-death flight and was he ever really Lady P's boss?
I'm pleased to say that since I drew these Roxy have reformed, and I continue to drop the guys into my work where I can . . .

Now back to reality . . . I have drawn artwork from issue 2 and all comic-strip art from issue 3 of the current Redan title onwards. I produce black and white line drawings to which speech balloons and colour are added at a later stage.
Please drop me a line and say hello!
