January 2008.
We would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year.
Our Red Siskins are currently taking a well earnt rest from their breeding activities having produced 33 healthy youngsters during the last breeding season, we plan to commence breeding them again towards the end of August / begginning of September..
We have recently paired together several pairs of Gouldian Finches in readiness for breeding.
We parent rear ALL of our birds and have no need whatsoever to use foster birds within our establishment.
Although Gouldians will always play an important role in our collection of birds, Dawn and i have decided to concentrate more on breeding Red Siskins and have drasticly reduced the number of Gouldian Finches now being bred .... we do however still ocassionaly have young parent reared stock available for sale.
Dawn and i would like to thank all our fellow friends who have purchased stock from us recently and we wish you all every success with your new arrivals.
We will gradualy introduce more features and information regarding our other birds as time permits.
We urge all of those who are interested in helping to save the wild populations of Gouldian Finches in their natural habitat to visit the website of the SAVE THE GOULDIAN FUND which can be found in our favourite links page
Please e mail
bc.levitt@ntlworld.com for information regarding available birds for sale as we do get numerous inquiries from other breeders.
We will add more news to this page on a regular basis as it happens.
regards.
Barry and Dawn.
