OCTOBER 2008.
We hope that you all have had a very successfull breeding season.
Our Red Siskins are curently taking a well earnt rest from breeding and again this year we have had a lot of success with all pairs producing healthy youngsters.
Next year are hoping for even better results as we have recently completed refurbishing what was previously our gouldian finch bird room to allow us to concentrate on breeding our red siskins, the extra accomodation will now allow us to breed from a lot more pairs than has previously been possible.
Although we no longer keep Gouldian Finches or Cuban finches we do hope however that we can continue to offer any help to those of you who require it and we remain in contact with many breeders of this species .
We parent rear ALL of our birds and have no need whatsoever to use foster birds within our establishment.
Dawn and i would like to thank all our fellow friends who have purchased stock from us recently and we wish you all every success with your new arrivals.
We will gradualy introduce more features and information regarding our other birds as time permits.
We urge all of those who are interested in helping to save the wild populations of Gouldian Finches in their natural habitat to visit the website of the SAVE THE GOULDIAN FUND which can be found in our favourite links page
Please e mail
bc.levitt@ntlworld.com for information regarding available birds for sale as we do get numerous inquiries from other breeders.
We will add more news to this page on a regular basis as it happens.
regards.
Barry and Dawn.
