Did you know...

...that Alyson Hannigan did not play Willow in the original pilot episode. The part was played by actress Riff Regan, but was re-cast for the first episode.

...that both Nicholas Brendan (Xander) and Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) are in their late twenties, therefore playing characters that are ten years their junior! (Have they discovered the secret of eternal youth?..)

...that during the filming of season one episode "The Pack", Alyson Hannigan (Willow) is aledged to have pulled down Nicholas Brendan's (Xander) trousers/pants revealing all his glory to the world..!

...that Anthony Stewart Head (Giles) has played "Frank'n'Furter" in a stage version of The Rocky Horror Show. The bare cheek of it..!

...that Robia La Morte (Miss Calender) was part of "the artist formerly known as Prince"s backing group (back when he was known as Prince?..).

...that James Masters (Spike) is not from London...one of those rare Americans that can do a passable British accent..!

...that Alexis Denisof (Wesley) is not British either, but he did live here for quite a long time. And whilst in the UK he featured on stage alongside Buffy colleague Anthony Stewart Head (Giles) in 'Rope'. And.. during filming on Buffy, Mr Head commented to Mr Denisof that 'he's American again', after he'd gradually regained his native accent.

...that the actor who played Luke in the first two episodes, Brian Thompson, also played demon 'The Judge' in series two of Buffy. And that 'The Judge' aquired the nickname 'Smurf Demon'. And.. that Mr Thompson was the shape shifting assassin in The X-Files, and has played a Klingon in Star Trek. He gets about a bit.....
