Opening Times - Bookings - Prices - How to get there

Opening Times: 2006

Winter: October - May
10.00am - 8.00pm daily

Summer: June - September
10.00am - 9.00pm daily

Exceptions:
Annual maintenance: (3 January - 8 January inclusive) Closed
Christmas Day: Closed

Ticket Office Hours:
The London Eye County Hall ticket office open's at 9.30am each morning.

Opening times are subject to change.

Full access and facilities for disabled visitors.

Access is very good, and staff are very helpful on and off the Wheel.

Sunset:

Visit the Eye after dark and you will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of London with stunning buildings such as the Houses of Parliament, St Paul's Cathedral, Battersea Power Station and the Oxo Tower lit up. Alternatively, visit at sunset and see the skyline awash with vibrant colours and the city's lights come on during your 30 minute flight.

Pre-Bookings

Individual

There are three ways to book a ticket.
1. CALL: 0870 5000 600

Payment by credit card:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

This line is for advance bookings for up to 24 guests for flights in 4 or more days time. Please have your credit card details, date and time you wish to book ready when you call.

Once booked, your tickets must be collected in person by the cardholder from the Ticket Office in County Hall. Please note your credit card is your reference and therefore, you will need to bring your credit card with you on the day.

2. Visit the Ticket Hall within County Hall adjacent to the Eye for both advance and same day tickets.

Groups

For groups of 25 or more people, call the Group Booking Line on 0870 400 3005 This line is open 8.30am - 6.30pm daily.

How to Get There

Located in Jubilee Gardens on the South Bank, between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge, opposite the Houses of Parliament. See a map from Multimap here.

By Tube:
    Waterloo - 5 minutes walk; follow signs for the South Bank.
    Westminster - 5 minutes walk; exit one, follow signs for Westminster pier.
    Embankment - 5 minutes walk.

By Rail: Waterloo International Station - 5 minutes; exit six for the South Bank and follow the signs.

By Bus: Numbers - 211, 24, 11; and most London Sightseeing tour bus routes. Now also on the new RV1 route that connects the London Eye to the Tate Modern and Covent Garden.

By Car: There are three car parks located on the South Bank, accessible from Belvedere Road. These are: Hungerford Bridge, the Hayward Gallery and the Royal National theatre; however it is advised not to drive to London.

By Coach: If you are bringing a group by coach or by disabled minibus and need to drop off and pick up your group at the Eye, you are required to book a coach parking bay. This service is complimentary, but groups must be booked in advance. Please note that since space is extremely limited, you are only permitted to use a parking bay for 20 minutes whilst you drop off and then pick up your group. You are not permitted to stay whilst the group visits the Eye. To book a coach parking drop off and pick up time, please call Group Sales on +44 (0)870 990 8886.

By River: Various river boat operators are utilising the new Waterloo Millennium Pier.
