Story Line?

Should a new lost in space tv show be a continuation of the classic or should there be a new crew? The following are some ideas.

Lost In Space Episodes - Season 1:

Episode 1: Becoming Lost

Becoming Lost in Space. Similar to the Original Lost in Space Show. This episode would use similar music to John Williams first episode.

Episode 2: Malfunction

Jupiter malfunctions or does it?

Episode 3: Avalanche

This episode would be located on a snowy planet.

Episode 4: Cave of Memories: Conundrum

Should the Jupiter 2 return to Earth? Penny is dieing by eating a poisonous plant. Do they find a cure? Judy falls asleep in a cave and has dreams. How are the two events connected?

Episode 5: Human Experiment

The crew discover aliens that had a connection with earth. Who are they? Greys?

Episode 6: Birth of the Robot - Part 1

This episode would be a historic episode. It would explain how the robot was developed. The episode will end with a cliff hanger with an evil version of the Robot.

Episode 7: Birth of the Robot - Part 2

Who created the Evil Robot? What happens to it?

Episode 8: Space Tourists

Space Tourists watch the J2 crew, but the J2 crew do not realise they are around.

Episode 9: Space Museum
Jupiter 2 loses power in space and encounters 'The Collector'.

Episode 10: Message in the Bottle
Find artefacts. These include maps and food stuffs and pictures. Who were the aliens?

LOST IN SPACE SEASON 4 IN ANIMATION?

I have a nice idea. I really wish a Season 4 was created. One solution is to make an animated TV series of Season 4 with the original characters. What do you think of that idea?

Features of Lost in Space Season 4

Season 4 would be serious like Season 1 and feature more character orientated episodes. The season would have at least one 2-part story. This season would see the return of the Cliff-Hanger at the end of the episodes like Season 1 and 2. New music would use theme's from various soundtracks from John Williams music, Alexander Courage themes to Herman Steins magical themes. The idea is that when you watch Lost in Space you can recognize it straight away.

Since the TV show finished in 1968, I propose to call the show 'Still Lost in Space'. One idea I have is for Penny to have kids. She gets married to an Aeola Umbra member. If Season 4 is made in 2005 she can have twin girls. One would be good and one could be evil. This could create some tension in some episode plotlines. Unfortunately Penny's husband will not be shown because he was killed in the past. However in future episodes say in Season 5 he could return. The big question is what happen to him?

Since Guy Williams and Jonathan Harris are no longer alive, if a 'Still Lost in Space' was made, they could not be included, however they can be added at various episodes reminiscing of the past. The other idea I have is that Judy and Don have two children: one is called John Jr and the other Zachary.

I would like to develop the characters of the individuals gradually in the various episodes slowly. The aim is to develop a bit of rivalry between Penny and Judy. Penny develops some fondness towards Don and realizes she will never find a partner to marry. Judy becomes a bit grumpy because she does not feel as technically minded as the others in her family. Judy tries to learn more about science and is eager to learn in how to fly the Jupiter 2 and the Space Pod in order to get closer to Don. Unfortunately she stumbles in her endeavours. Don seems more sympathetic to Penny.

This season could feature:

1. Deep Space Probe
The Jupiter 2 encounters a dusty deactivated Earth Deep Space Probe. Is it really from Earth? Who really controls it? Aeolus Umbra? John Robinson performs a spacewalk and tries to repair the probe's power supply. When the probe is activated, John is trapped in an electric force field and cannot escape. The episode titles introduction starts. The Robot tries to communicate with the space probe and eventually the robot persuades the probe to release him. However the probe disables the Jupiter 2 power and tries to destroy the J2. While the Robot tries to keep the probes attention by sending out strange signals in order to de-sense the sensors on the probe. John Robinson puts the Space Pod in manual and uses the Space Pod to destroy the probe. Near the end the probe releases a small probe that attaches itself to the hull of the Jupiter 2. Before the Space Probe is blown up, it sends a signal. Visually on the tv show you would see scenes of the signals transmitted from space transmitter to another space transmitter and lastly you see human/aliens hands at controls.

* I like the idea of the episode idea and it introduces Aeola Umbra.

2. Astronaut Stranded in Space

The Jupiter 2 find a stranded spaceship in deep space. The occupant has on purpose destroyed his control system.

3. Camouflage

The stranded alien from episode 2 is rescued and taken to a near by planet. While the Robinsons are sleeping he borrows the Space Pod during the night to met his Aeolus Umbra superiors on a spaceship floating as a camouflaged asteroid. At the end of the episode Dr Smith discovers he is working for Aeolus Umbra. Smith is taken to the camouflaged asteroid and is interrogated. They probe him and try to find out why he had become a coward. Smith changes? but does he?

4. Zumdish (Season 1 and 2)
While the J2 is landing on a planet, power is lost and ends up crashing. The Robot loses power. A machine sucks the energy. How is Zumdish connected?

5. Judy Robinson Story
I would like to see one episode dedicated to Judy Robinson. This episode would explain her past and interests.

6. Space Robot:
Find a robot in space frozen suspended animation in a spacecraft. It is living its last days. Why was in in suspended animation? Is the robot from earth? Is it a failed experiment?

7. Maureen Story:
Maureen is possessed by an Alien wanting to return home. Maureen and the alien have a mind battle and there are scenes where the are fighting. Maureen at first seems to be winning the mind battle so the Alien tries to upset members of the crew so Maureen mind gets confused. Maureen gains control again so the Alien takes over the J2 and crashes it. Some of the J2 crew are tied up and locked in their rooms.

8. Space Door:
Don and Judy are taken to a paradise where there is only nature and they have to survive. They have no technology. Somehow there are fluxes in time and you view what happens if they were marooned alone. Don and Judy have children. What happens in the end, I have still not worked it out.

9. Planet Earth 2 Story:
The Space Pod crashes in water and the Chariot falls down a cliff. The planet is a mirage and is created by the Saticons.

10. Return to Earth:
Featuring the Saticons.

11. Shadow of Doubt
Pick up a kid that has lived his life amongst aliens. Is the kid from earth? Was he abducted by Aliens?

12. Matter Transfer Story:
Met an alien that explains in how to build one, but in the end the information is taken back.

13. Meet Aeolus Umbra in Space:
Smith does not realise its them and he gets hypnotised and the J2 gets bugged.

14. Space Rupture:
After taking the Jupiter 2 for a test flight, the crew return to the planet via a mysterious radiation belt. Where did it come from? The Robinsons met Future Robinsons and they try to prevent the future event happening? Are they in a parallel world?

15. Hungary Time:
Land on a swampy planet which has quick sand and lots of nasty monsters. An Octopus Creature tries to swallow the J2. The creature uses alien ants to infect the J2 hull in order to eat the metal. The Robot tries to communicate with it and it is not interested and in the end they have to destroy it.

16. The Jupiter 2 becomes flooded.

17. Space God:
Met someone who acts as a god and controls primitives and at first finds the Robinsons a threat and then tries to make them stay. The god is a Holographic Creature. IN the end he is destroyed because the tries to trap the Robinsons in his world by destroying the way out. How created the Hologram?

18. Eye of the Storm
Ion Storm damages the J2 and put it into Hyperdrive. J2 loses control. In actual fact the computer system has been infected and has taken control.

19. Goodbye John
War-like race intent on capturing J2 for access to technology. John Robinson is killed trying to save the family.

20. Chameleon
A lonely Shape Shifter takes over Maureen and wants to go home, but when their minds disagree, the Shape Shifter tries to destroy the J2. To revive Maureen, she is shot in order for the Shape Shifter to leave her body.

21. Space Siren:
Met 5 beautiful females that take over the men of the J2. Are they really human?

22. Bluff:
Met aliens who pretend they are peaceful and want to swap technology, but in actual fact try to learn from the history from the Robinsons. These aliens talk fast and try to extract information as quick as possible. They act like spongers. Are they human like? or are they spongey creatures.

23. The Saticons (from Season 2)
This episode could explain who the Saticons are and it could be located on their home planet, a space station, a world they have conquered or related to a Earth Return Story for the Robinsons.

24. Verda and Idak Story (from Season 2)

25. Revenge of the Robotoid (from Season 1)

The episode with the Robotoid becoming re-activated and searching for the Robinsons. The Robotoid follows the hyperdrive trail. The robotoid was first seen in the first season "War of the Robots".

25. Over the Moon

Don takes Judy to a moon for a romantic picnic. He uses inflatables to create the picnic area. Alternative story idea is for Judy to surprise Don and take him to a moon - Judy proves she can fly the Space Pod

Season 5

1. Lessons of Love:
Penny gets jealous of Judy because she is having a relationship with Don. Penny tries to get Don's attention as he teaches her in how to fly the Space Pod.

Mr. Arcon: Was seen in the last episode of Season 2 in the episode titled "The Galaxy Gift". This episode also featured the Saticons.
