ABOUT ME

Firstly, I would like to welcome you to my web site, my name is Louise Wilson and live in a village called Ceres, near St Andrews in North East Fife, Scotland.

My love of Rough Collies started at a very early age, we had Rough Collies in our family since I was 5 years of age.  Our first Rough Collie was a Tri Colour Dog called Kim bred along Naragansette lines, after Kim passed away at the grand old age of 15 we purchased another collie, a Sable & White Bitch called Kassi who was bred along Meranne lines who my mum and dad still have.

My interest in dog showing actually started with my West Highland White Terrier "Corrie" who is a real character in my household and then I was introduced to Dave & Edith Thomson from the Lomondvale Kennel after searching for a Rough Collie to have of my own.  The showing bug bit me when I started showing their well known dog "Lomondvale Laphroig" with whom I won many 1st places and BOB's at Open Shows.

It was in August 2001 that I had my own puppy bitch at home, she is "Lomondvale Summer Dream at Louanja" aka Keira to the family, she has done well in the show ring in UK and Ireland and qualified for Crufts 2003.  

My youngest sable/white bitch is "Lomondvale Taylor Maid for Louanja" aka Rayna, who also qualified for Crufts 2003 at her first championship show.

I am a committee member of the Ayrshire Collie Club and also St Andrews, Cupar & District Canine Society.
