I am a visual artist and a musician/vocalist. I like everything creative and like trying new things. I was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, lived in Siberia, studied Art in Baku and London and am now living in London, making a living of both my art and my security job ( boring but it gives you time to observe people and society).
In visual arts my sources inspiration are as diverse as cubism, expressionism, japanese calligraphy and persian miniatures. I try to express as much as possible with the minimum of lines and i try, like japanese calligraphist, to create my drawings and paintings in one flow without previous studies or sketches and without making any corrections to the creation. I want my Art to be both instinctive and well-thought.
My work shows my view on society and human nature.
I consider myself as the artist of the inner-life, of feelings and moods. my art is showing what's happening IN my subjects, with only the most important and necessary lines, so the brain is not distracted by the olften misleading appearances. With the external details come cliches and the external look can create a mental barrier between the audience and the subject . With minimalistic-expressionism, i want everybody to be able to identify themselves to the subject. I want to make people think about themselves and about the environment they live in. My goal is also to make them realise things they might not have noticed themselves, but that I have.
