So what are the Teachings of the Old Ways

Firstly some of what it is not

The modern traditions as in any of the forms of ritual devised

Pagan

Wiccan

Satanism

Arcane or Fairy Magic, or anything fairy.

So what is it?

Witchcraft has always been acknowledged as the most powerful form of magic, practised in its many different forms worldwide. The powers of a true Witch are formidable.

The old practice of Witchcraft consists of rituals to worship the Old Ones and the training of the “Will”.

Witchcraft has the ability to change or affect events or occurrences by the use of the practitioner’s own Will, supported by natural energies of the Universe and the “mystical keys”
The secret behind all Old Craft Witchcraft, in the old days it was handed down through the Family or through the Initiation process and handed on by example.
This knowledge is taught within a Coven structure to ensure secrecy, support and to develop a “strong group mind”.
Today, because the old Family structure is kept firmly hidden underground, and the old Initiation processes that appear to be feared by the "new-age" dabblers, it is still important to learn how to attain some of these old skills in a structured manner. This knowledge was always protected by an oath of secrecy sworn by the Novice.
Some of the goals of Witchcraft are to be able to tune into other “regions” by the intense training of the body and mind, and to develop the ability to visualise and interpret certain old mystical symbols and utilise these powerful and intensely secret magical signs. It is also important to maintain the worship of the Old Ones ritually.

It is also imperative that any exercises are carried out DAILY and to practice, until the Witch is perfect in its control. This energetic force should be confidently felt as being able to extend outward from your own centre of being into infinity.

At this point the Witch is accumulating the vital power within them, charging slowly, like a battery, storing the energy inwardly for any use that it may be required for.
Feeling the energy, growing and vibrating, charging the body and the mind.

The Will

Having achieved the appropriate degree of understanding and practise in

The charging of the body and practising the “mental” changing and the Ability to control this power at will. if the Novice has the persistence, patience and the ability to learn within a group or Coven environment, or through correspondence all the steps of the process are very achievable.

A Witch with knowledge of the later traditions could make use of their personal tools from time to time, to assist with a difficult matter, or for the pure enjoyment of performing full ritual, or perhaps when working with Witches of lesser degrees Or as part of the training process to make sure all levels of ability have been achieved.

However, as a Witch grows and develops, as their level of understanding and their mental familiarity with the different states of the power, all levels of work and ritual will be done and taught before any Witch can reach these higher levels of operations.
