Stockiemuir Road Closed

Stockiemuir Road is closed for resurfacing between 22 and 27 January between the petrol station and the estate roundabout. Please note that this will probably mean heavy lorries and other traffic using the estate roads over that period. There will also be no bus service, with the 109 bus travelling to Baljaffray via Craigdhu Road (past South Mains Farm) instead.

First Glasgow Public Meeting

A successful public meeting was held with senior managers from the bus company and local residents. More

Both the Council and the police have conducted speed surveys on Castlemains and Douglas Muir Road. More

Welcome to the website of the Mains Estate Residents' Association. The Association represents the residents of the Mains Estate in Milngavie near Glasgow in Scotland. 

On this web site we hope to make available useful information to you. Here you will find electronic versions of our newsletters with extra information where available. We will also try to to keep you up to date with what is happening at our committee meetings and to provide generally useful information.
