The Eagles were away again for their second league match. Hopes in the sideline crew were high after Saturdays excellent result against Urdd. The Panthers have  provided stern opposition in the past so nothing was being taken for granted.  The grass length caused quite a bit of discussion from the pundits among the Marlboro Sideline Crew but we were sure the lads would cope. Coats were donned for the first time in months as the keen wind meant the hardy Sideline Crew felt a tad cold!

Some keen  play from both sides saw action at both ends in the first couple of minutes but the Eagles took the game to the home side and were deservedly awarded a penalty when James was unceremoniously pushed over as he went through on goal. Hassan put way the spot kick with amplomb. By half time the lads had increased the lead to 3-0 and the Panthers were starting to look a little ragged.

The second half saw the Eagles take complete control and the constant pressure exerted by the Eagles caused the Panther defence to be pulled apart and the goals started going in with regularity. The Panthers did not give up however and hit the post from one fine shot. The lads finished putting in 6 more including a second half hat trick from Niall to finish up 9-0 victors.
