A warm sunny morning again! We could all get used to this! This was the first time we've played at this famous old motorcycle venue although we did once turn up on a very cold winter's day last season only for the games to be called off! As well as the superb football I' m sure we were all mighty impressed with the clever motorcyclist who visited us from time to time this morning!

The results speak volumes! Our heroes were totally dominant this morning and all three results were highly deserved! To give credit to our gallant foes, in all three games the score remained close for the first part of each match, but in each the constant pressure exerted by our highly skilled band of maurauders finally told!
To put today's performances in perspective, if we think back to last season, there wasn't one occasion where a single team dominated a morning's proceedings to the same extent as the Eagles did today! It just shows how far the lads have come since the start of last season! It's now quite a while since we've tasted any sort of defeat, I believe the semi-final at Wenvoe was the last! And how unlucky that was! Special mention should go to Sam today, when your side is attacking so often its all to easy for your keeper to lose concentration but Sam didn't once let us down. Also well done to Owen for volunteering to help Capital Trucks out in the last game when they needed an extra man!
I'm sure the lads will face more testing opposition in the coming weeks but they've certainly set the standard for other sides to match! Well done the lads and well done Mike and Dermot!
