| The Eagles arrived at Pontcanna knowing that numbers were going to be a problem due to FAW committments by James, Aaron and Joey. This as well as several injuries and one no show meant it was the smallest squad of the season and for the first time the lads had to take the field with less than a full compliment of players. Nine hero Eagles started the match and after 20 minutes things became even worse when Matthew's back strain became worse and he had no alternative but to leave the fray. A battling first half saw the Eagles only 3-1 down including an excellent strike from Niall. Even then one Thornhill goal was scored after a desperate tackle by Declan was deemed a back pass to William for which an indirect free kick was given. The second half saw the amazing Eagle spirit come to the fore and the lads scored two more goals to draw the game at 3-3!
