Good game, good game! In this practise match at UWIC the lads went down 5-3 to Llanishen Dons. Both sides showed some enterprising play but the Dons definitely held sway in the middle of the pitch where they picked up the vast majority of loose balls. Many of the Eagles goal kicks went to a Dons midfielder which gave then many attacking opportunities. The goals were scored by Jonathan after a fine run and shot by Aaron hit the post and two well taken  efforts by by Niall. Towards the end some wayward defensive positioning caused difficulties at the back. However not all gloom!  We did see some fine enterprising play from Niall, James, Aaron and Joey up front.

Next week the lads will  play at the same venue at the same time.
