Saturday October 21st 2000 Venue: Sevenoaks Park Once again we were lucky with the weather! Just before the start it looked like we were in for a wet morning but the rain stopped for the first game and stayed away for the whole morning! The first match this morning saw yet another tussle with Grange Catholics and a fine match it was too. The Eagles went ahead in the first half through a fine Arron corner which the Grange defence failed to deal with. (See the second photo! At last I catch a goal!) . Grange equalised in the second half and we saw a very competitive game develop with both Arron and Michael hitting the post! The Eagles lost the other two games against Lisvane and Capital Truck but Niall and James managed to grab great goals in the respective games. Again the lads and managers would like to thank the supporters for their tremendous encouragement! |
