The lads turned out at Willows for the first game of the season against a much improved Splott Albion who looked very industrious both on and off the ball. To be truthful the lads struggled from early on and were always playing catch up after going 3-0 down by half time. The second half did see two fine goals by Jamie and Joe. Jamie put home a screamer from outside the box and when Joey volleyed to make the score 4-2 in looked like the lads might be about to turn things around. However, the Splott lads exploited a 3 man defence well towards the second half and deserved to score 3 more goals
