Every team dreams of walking down that tunnel at wembley and in 1998 we did. It may not have been in the most glamorous tournament but even so the Twin Towers never looked so good.
I remember walking up the steps to enter the stadium and it was the most collosal sight I had ever seen, certainly a far cry from the division 2 stadiums I had been to previously. To this day I consider Wembley the most historic and inspiring stadium the world has ever seen.
We never looked like winning the game it was classic Bournemouth / Eynsham tactics at the time, hoof it up to the little man up front and hopefully he'll put it in the back of the net. This only worked once and we lost to a golden goal, it was gutting but an all round nice experience.
