MB Collector UK, for all collectors of matchbox 1-75 miniatures Welcome to my site, Matchbox Collector UK. This site will be of interest to anyone with an interest in Matchbox cars wherever you are in the world, although as the title suggests there is extra information relating to the range as sold in the UK.

The list section of the site catalogues the UK range from 1982 through to 2004, with images where available, ordered by both year and manafacturer number.

The gallery pages, started in March 2004, contain images of the models in my collection.

During 2004 a new range of Superfast models is to be released...[More]

To give you a quick overview of my collection I first began collecting in the late eighties. I collected the then current range plus older models, mainly superfast but including some regular wheels. By the early nineties I had stopped serious collecting, buying only occasionally (9 models over 8 years!). In mid 2002 I came across a Matchbox website by chance whilst searching for details about an actual car, and that single event started me collecting again. I decided to collect all 75 models and the 5 packs released that year and buy older models when I found them in good condition and at fair prices. I applied the same criteria in 2003 and am doing so again this year.

2004 Releases currently in my collection
I now have all the models from batches a, b & c, and most of those from batch d.
