The new superfast models are due to appear during July or August 2004. There are planned to be three waves of 12 models each this year, with the remainer of the 75 to be released in 2005. Initially the range will only be sold in the USA, and will be limited to 10,000 of each model.

Whilst some of the castings to be used for this range have been previously available as regular miniatures (although always in a different colour scheme), there will be some castings that are unique to the Superfast range.

Update    From 2005 the production limit for each model will be 25,000. This will be split 15,000 for the US range and 10,000 for the ROW range. The castings will be the same between the US & ROW ranges but the colours used will be different, therefore two of each model to collect and lots of trade back and forth across the Atlantic!
