Testify Update - Producer Change?
I'm not sure if this is new news, but it's certainly new to me. TESTIFY
will not be produced by Mick Jones as originally believed, but instead by
Peter Mokran. I've also just realised that Nikki Sixx will be one of the
writers on the album!
Date 24/02/2002

Not sure how this could affect the timing of TESTIFY though.

Album Hints
Several sources suggest that the album will be somewhat
different from what people expect. Kasim Sulton has mentioned:
"Loaf is going to surprise people with this one" (http://www.kasiminfo.com/Print.html)
Sulton also mentioned some
of the writers and contributors (alas, no Steinman this time around),
including Diane Warren

Testify Cover!!
The Night Of The Proms tour in Europe, which Meat appeared
on, in late 2001 saw an entire page of the program devoted to Testify. The
picture is shown below:

The design seems immediately
similar to that of the artwork for Welcome To The Neighbourhood. There is
no confirmation, or even comment, that this will be the final
cover/artwork for the release, but it'd be very impressive if it was!

Early Tracklisting
We also have a rough idea of the tracklisting for the
album:
1) Do It
2) Love You Out Loud
3) Man Of Steel
4) Shadow Land
5) Decadent Wish
6) Why Isn't That Enough?
7) Unsaid
8) Tear Me Down
However, all we really know
about any of these tracks is that 'Tear Me Down' featured in the 'Hedwig
& The Angry Inch' picture.
-----------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------
Initially the album was to
be called Fun House, but is now expected to be Testify. It is also
expected that release will be early/mid 2002 though at the time of writing
(11/2/2002) there has been no real details regarding release dates.
