Kasim Sulton Mentions Spring/Summer Tour
In a recent interview Kasim Sulton briefly mentioned the expected world tour for Couldn't Have Said It Better. He says:

"2003 is going to be a Mostly Meat year for me ... We start a promotional tour in Germany in a couple of weeks and there are plans for a proper tour to start in late spring / early summer."

DIST Video Going To Air In Germany Tomorrow
It seems the promotional video for Did I Say That? will begin airing tomorrow - Monday 13th Jan - on the German music TV station, 'Viva'. More info about international screenings as and when.

Tickets for Promo German gig
The promotional concert in Cologne on 27th January has now been confirmed at the
Theater am Tanzbrunnen. This is a small venue press-type concert but a few tickets have been made available to the public. If you are interested try calling Germany 01805-570000.

First Couldn't Have Said It Better Tour Date?!
It appears the first tour date for the new album tour has been released. It is to take place at the Watershed Festival, Walkerton, ON, Canada. It seems to be a weekend event - with Meat appearing on the 31st August. Tickets = $176 for the entire weekend event or $126 reserved. Loads more details by following this link:

Promo German Appearance/Concert
Details from www.kasiminfo.com. Meat will perform a promotional concert in Germany on Monday 27th January at Theater am Tanzbrunnen in Cologne. Tickets for this event can not be purchased as it is a promo gig.

Clips From the First Single, Did I Say That?
The first single from the new album - Did I Say That? - was released to German radio stations on Dec 16th. There is now a clip of the song at the Yahoo! Group "The Meat Loaf Bat Caves". You can visit the group here, but you'll need to become a member to hear the clip. It's very a good sounding track ... please share your thoughts to us!

Single Release Date Change
It seems the first single from the album, set for release in January, has been put back by one week. The Polydor Records website now lists the release of Did I Say That? as January 27th. (Info from Kasiminfo.com)

  

First Firm Album Release Date!
The Polydor website now lists a release date for Couldn't Have Said It Better"! The date listed is as March 3rd in Germany. More info shortly ...

 

Album Promotion ... German TV
It seems two provisional TV appearences for the promotion of the new album have been set! The possible appearences are:
WETTEN, DASS on January 25th ... as Kasim calls it a "Sort of a two-hour variety show" (kasimsulton.com)
Top Of The Pops on February 8th.

...more details and confirmation of such events when we hear about it!

Kasim Sulton has posted some news and details about the new album, telling us about preparation for the promotion work. Also of interest he says "We're doing European Promotion first as that's where the record will be released initially". The full details of what Kasim says can be found at www.kasimsulton.com!!

Single Release Dates & Info!
The first single from the album is to be Did I Say That? It seems only a German release date has been set for January 20th. First airplay for this track in Germany will be as soon as December 16th!! This single will be released on Meat's European label - Polydor. News on releases across the world when we receive it! The song COULD even feature Todd Rundgren on backing vocals!

 
Album News and Possibilities
It seems the new album is now to be called either "Couldn't Have Said It Better" or "(I) Couldn't Have Said It Better (Myself)". Possible release dates are from as soon as February, through to April 3rd. It seems there has been no label deal in America, but it should be released on Polydor in Europe. No news either about other world-wide releases.

 
Web Domain Name Change!
As you may have noticed we have a new domain address to fit in with the new album. Problems with the PREVIOUS address, ML-Testify.com caused the site to go down for a few months, but now were back here, at www.couldnthavesaiditbetter.com . We'll be bringing news, views, reviews and much more info on the album!
