MTV Article Mentions Testify!
A new MTV.com article about Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx has some details about Sixx's writings for Testify, notably the track Man Of Steel. The following extract from the article gives more info:

"Sixx started writing new songs with his friend James Michael, who had worked with him on the last Mötley Crüe album, New Tattoo (2000). The pair started by writing a song for Michael's band Heidi Crisis, then they heard that Meat Loaf was looking for material for his next album, so they penned "Man of Steel," which Sixx described as "an epic ballad that starts with nothing and ends with everything and the kitchen sink thrown in."

Sixx expected Meat Loaf's management to get back to him to let him know whether they liked the song, but he never expected that not only would it be the first single on the album, but Meat Loaf would ask him to write two more songs.

"He and his wife called me up and said, 'Wow, somebody finally out-wrote Jim Steinman,' " enthused Sixx."

Extreme Dating Movie Update
The new movie, Extreme Dating starring Meat Loaf is now in the post-production stage. The official website, http://www.extremedatingmovie.com has also had a big update with all sorts of new information. Here's the story/plot information:

"In this action-comedy, four twenty-something friends are looking for love and having no luck. While on a ski trip, one of them finds passion with a beautiful girl after a random accident on the icy slopes. The others quickly conclude that the extreme circumstances of the accident were what caused love to bloom.
They decide that the path to true love is to purposely set each other up on extreme dates with the objects of their affections. After a couple of near-successes, they go for broke by planning an elaborate kidnapping scheme that can't miss.
But the hired "kidnappers" turn out to be ex-cons with a plan of their own, and the extreme date escalates out of control.
The remaining friends must now rescue the captives, while desperately trying to avoid the long arm of the law. Obstacles pop up left and right, as the adventure gets wilder and wilder. The pursuit eventually takes us back to L.A., where secrets begin to get exposed....
In the end, will eXtreme dating lead to true love?"

Meat plays a character called Marshall Jackson. The official website for the film aslo has pictures from behind the scenes. Looks like it'll be a great film & eagerly anticipated.
