Wow. Where do I start? Kira and his friends get
involved with a war with Coordinators and Naturals. Kira becomes the pilot
of a mobile suit, and he meets a childhood friend that is on the enemy's side.
Events happen and they both come to understand that killing accomplishes nothing
but saddness and destruction.
It's 50 episodes of kick ass shit. |

Animation

9.5

The animation is done well most of the time. Only a few spots where it
just plain sucks. |

There is fan service here and there.

Music

It's rare for me to like almost all the songs on any anime OST. Naruto was
one of the few OSTs where I loved practically all the songs. Gundam Seed
is another. Each of the music pieces really enhanced the mood of all the
different scenes.

Character Development

Kira and Athrun were center stage for character development, and I think they
production team did a great job. Athrun and Dearka especially. |

Fights |

I thought all the fights were fun. Even the ones that didn't use Gundams
like the fight between Kira and Ssigh were great. The fight that stands
out in my mind would be the last battle between Strike and Aegis where Athrun
self-destructed Aegis while it was holding onto Strike. |

Ending

Of all the anime to make it to the list, Gundam Seed is one of the few with a
very meaningful ending. Cowboy Bebop and Saishu Heiki Kanojo are the other
anime that had thought provoking endings. |

Best action/drama series I've ever seen so far. |

Notes
|
This anime shows how great an anime can be when deaths are
meaningful. Natarle Badgiruel, Mwu La Fllaga, and Fllay Allster are the
best ones to name.
I can't wait for the second series of the Gundam Seed. |
