Battle 33 - Link vs. Fox McCloud
"There you have it folks! The
first round of the GameFAQs Summer Battle II is over! Now, it is time to
start the second round," CJayC waited for the arena floor to change.
The walls of the arena floor changed from being bare to having bags all
over. The entrances to the arena floor disappeared.
"In the second round, all
contestants will be able to grab any bag on the walls to use a random item that
will be generated the moment the bags are open." CJayC then announced
the fighters.
A few feet from where the entrances
use to be, holes opened up. Link and Fox rose from the ground at opposite
ends. Link and Fox smiled at each other for a moment. Fox got the
first shot off, but it was easily blocked by Link's shield. Link ran at
Fox with his Master Sword ready to swing. Fox ran to the nearest bag and
opened it up to find a tissue. Fox was confused for a moment, and Link
took advantage by slicing his legs off.
"Fox cannot continue. The
winner is Link!" CJayC announced.
