So what can we tell you about Milber?

We are a small, urban Infants' School and Nursery (3-7 years), situated on the outskirts of Newton Abbot, within easy reach of some of the most beautiful areas of Devon countryside and coastline. The estate has a close-knit but welcoming community and throughout the year there are many events arranged for children and their families.

Our Governors have joint responsibility with the Headteacher and the Local Education Authority for the day-to-day running of the school.

In a smaller school close and caring relationships between age groups can be more easily established. At Milber we pride ourselves on creating a knowing supportive structure within which children can develop confidence and independence.

We value highly the important link which exists between home and school so that children thrive in a cooperative atmosphere. With this in mind we welcome the opportunity to talk with parents about any aspect of their child's development.
