Earlier this year, our local Tesco supermarket ran a competition for schools. We had to write a song about computers and the Internet, using the letters T,E,S,C and O. Our Year 2 groups recorded a song for us, and we emerged as joint winners. It meant that we won a lot of computer vouchers and a trip to a recording studio, where our song was properly produced. We made a CD of it, and it was played on local radio, as well as in the Tesco superstore itself. If your computer has a sound card, you can hear or download the music for the song by clicking ! Here are the words that go with it... School lessons can be brilliant
Just listen and you’ll see
It’s a matter of five letters
The first of them is - T.
You need some T (technology)
E (electricity)
S (software, to get the job done)
Your C (computer)
Goes O (online)
And life can be a lot more fun
But you can have technology
I’m sure that you’ll agree
And still be getting nowhere;
You need the letter E.
At last the power’s working
But as you may just guess
You still won’t get the job done
Without the letter S.
So now we’ve got three letters
But still it’s only three
To make it all work for you
You’ll have to get a C.
And with our class computer
We’re almost set to go
To make it really special
Just add the letter O. |
