| Unlike some of Airfix's
other kits, by today's standards and compared with what is actually now
on the market, the Airfix Tiger is not really of any use, neither to wargamers
nor static modellers.
It does have a nostalgic value for many of us whose first Tiger tank was the Airfix kit, for sure, and it was the subject of many conversion jobs when there was just nothing else available, but it is way past its day. The example below has been painted in an extremely inauthentic ambush camouflage scheme.
