fields grazed by cattle on the shores of Ballyheigue Bay and the Mountains of the
Dingle Peninsula on the horizon. General Description Just 5km away is the coastal village of Ballyheigue with its EU Blue Flag rated Sandy Beaches and 9 hole Golf Course, Traditional Irish Pubs and a variety of restaurants and shops. Whether your Holiday is a leisurely tour or a more active outing “Gleann Doire” is an ideal location for Adults, Groups and Families. Tralee is the Capital Town of County Kerry and is only 20km away and has all the Visitor Attractions and Tourist Amenities, including Siamsa Tire – the National Folk Theatre of Ireland, the Kerry Museum & Heritage Centre, the Children will love the Aqua Dome and Aqua Golf which is a large water park, and of course the Steam Train ride to the Blennerville Windmill, the largest working Windmill in Ireland. Two of the finest Golf links in the Country are within a 15km drive at Barrow and Ballybunion as is Ardfert, Dooks and Waterville, the favourite of many top golfers. For
those wishing to tour the southwest corner of Ireland this is an ideal location,
with the Ring of Kerry, Lakes of Killarney, and Dingle Peninsula all within easy
reach. There is a car ferry to Co Clare from Tarbert on the banks of the river
Shannon making a day trip to the Burren and Cliffs of Moher an easy outing. There
are Sea Fishing trips available a short distance from the Houses, with Rock and
Shore Fishing an easy walk away. Should
you decide to relax and leave the driving to us, a Chauffeur can be arranged to
