Under the name of Moonstone Stud, I specialise in breeding and showing rare coloured netherland dwarfs, at present breeding black, chocolate and lilac otters; cinnamon, lynx and re-establishing orange.  Moonstone Stud was established in the early 1980s starting with opals and blue otters, and working on orange and fawn from 1984.  Chocolate Otter, Cinnamon, Lynx, Self Black, and Black Otter have all been registered as champions and Cinnamon, Lynx, Self Black and Black Otter as Grand Champions.  I also have a small stud of quality mini lops in cinnamon, chocolate, orange and butterfly. All stock regularly handled and bred for type and temperament.

I have worked very hard over the years to produce rabbits in the rarer colours to as high a standard as possible where they can earn the respect of the rest of the dwarf fancy.   While there is still some way to go I feel they are progressing in the right direction.
