Local Area Info
Milton Keynes is a continually growing city. Beautifully designed,
residential accommodation is hidden behind the leaves of green trees...
Known as the city in the country, it's built around over 4500 acres
of parkland and has over 20 million trees! With frequent performances
at the MK Bowl, and a carboot sale there every Sunday, theres lots
to look forward to. There are hundreds of walkways around the city,
utilised by walkers, families and cyclists all days of the week.
Milton Keynes boasts a few lakes which attract year-round entertainments.
Its such a pleasure to drive into the town centre on a Saturday
morning, and actually find a parking. The roads are wider than in
London, and as its suburbs are built on a Grid, locations are easily
found.
Regular train services are run between Milton Keynes and London
Euston, the jouney taking approximately 40 minutes. There is also
the 'easybus' service which runs from the town centre to Central
London at all hours of the day. There's various other bus and coach
links which will take you to any destination within the country,
as well as Milton Keynes joining the M1 at Junction 13 and 14.
