segma@euronet.nl | 30-12-2007 - 12:25 Dear Mike, after a long period of radiosilence, I am trying to re-uptake my research for P/O Ralph F.Litchfield, the SDO on the Don Irving crew, 101 Sqdn, SR-H, that was lost on the Nurenberg raid, 30/31 March 1944. I found our correspondenc, and looked at your site, and printed the photo's of Don and the crew. Compliments for your site, and sharing this with many other interested people. I do hope to get in touch with you again, and anyone who can help me finding NoK's of the Irving crew, kind regards, Jan A. Schipper |

arsenal@sympatico.ca | 07-10-2006 - 16:42 An excellent site. In particular I was interest in the information on Bob Routledge and #11 AGS, I.O.M. My late father - then WO2 Tom BUTTON RCAF - was stationed there from Dec 44 to May 45. From his Pilot's Flying Log Book mostly flying Martinets. There's an entry "Drogue towing what a racket!!!). I have a couple of group photos taken at #11 AGS during this period and would be glad to pass along to the Routledge family (or anyone else who's interested). |
