A flourishing social section exists, which is particularly active during the winter months. Entertainment, to suit all tastes, is arranged on at least one Saturday.
Carpet bowls is played in the function room throughout the winter and is open to both bowling and social members. Internal triples and pairs league matches are held in the evenings and an informal get together takes place on Tuesday afternoons. Knockout competitions are also run throughout the season and occasionally informal matches are arranged against other Clubs.
Bingo is played on the first Saturday of the month throughout the year and is open to all.
