Hi, this is a website dedicated to the fantastic Newcastle Emlyn Youth,(of the Merthyr Tydfil Stake) who throughout the years have maintained their enthusiasm for all things fun. :) In This website, you can find photo albums of the youth at various times, from activities to panto's to birthdays. You can also find information on the youth. But not only the youth but also the ward itself, who has always been a warm and welcoming unit. There is also much more- so ENJOY :):):) |

I realise this hasnt been updated for a very loong time as my sister has gone off to uni and i started my A levels, but today I had a sudden urge to start editing and updating, so over the next few weeks i hope to get all the new stuff up if possible. have fun! 3rd November 2003 VERY late, and im very sorry!! we have new young womens councilors(sp?) they are Hillary Wilcox and Catherine Hutchinson, WELCOME :) 21st September 2003 A very big THANK YOU to Naomi Jones and Amy Wilcox for organising the "From Cumorah's Hill" fireside, which was held last friday and tonight, it was a big sucsess, so thank you to everyone who was involved, and Naomi and Amy you are STARS! :) 29th June 2003 Today there were changes to the boundries of our ward, now Dolgran Pencader are included in the Carmarthen branch, which means Hollie Miles and Aaron Webb officially out of NCEward, but they are staying anyway :) you go guys, stay with us, we LOVE you. |
20th October- Congrats and Love ya - Congrats 2 Amy on being called as YW pres today.Love ya Sharon (she has been released) and congratulations also for her just having a lil baby girl, she has been named Natasha Jay Ellis and looks just like her adorable big brother Keiran. 13th October- Welcome to the Three Musketeers Samuel Wilkins, Ivan Hutchinson and Robbie Webb. September- Best of luck to Matt Wilkins who is staying in Vancouver,Canada with the Meades for the near future Summer 2002- Welcome to the new Beehives- Laura Taylor and Kerry Coombes. |
23rd May Tony Webb is moving to Bristol tommorow, just to say WE LOVE YOU, and we'll all miss your Tony hugs. Good luck in Bristol and BE GOOD! |
Recently we went to Ireland on a Youth day trip- it was a fantastic experience, and you can see pictures of the trip in the "Ireland Photo Album". We got stuck over there because of the rough weather (and had to sleep in the ferry port- quite and adventure :] ) |
Last Autumn, the ward did a very succesful version of the Peter Pan pantomime, where almost all the ward were involved and we raised a substantial amount for the charity. You can find pictures of the Panto in the photo album "Peter Pan" |
At Christmas 2001, the Newcastle Emlyn Ward was doing so well, that it has now split into two units- Newcastle Emlyn Ward and Carmarthen Branch- we are now aiming for the West Wales Stake :0 but that is a working progress. |
