[Max and Steph are together and it is the first night they have to themselves.]
Steph walked up Max's drive and knocked the door, feeling nervous but also very
excited inside. This is their first official evening together since they had
admitted their feelings for each other and eventually got it together.
Max had planned a big night but it was a surprise for Steph and she didn't know
what to expect.
Max ran to the door, stopped, took a deep breath then opened the door with a
huge smile on his face.
"Good evening Madam and how are you this wonderful evening? asked Max as he
ushered a smiling Steph into his house.
"Very well thank you sir and how are you? Steph answered
Max pulled Steph into him and they kissed passionately Max pulled away and with
a smug look on his face replied "Amazing thanks".
"So what you got planned for us this evening, We going anywhere nice? Asked
Steph in a curious voice
Max looked into her eyes, still with arms wrapped round her waist and said
"Well the kids are spending 'quality time' with Mum and staying the night
so that means we are 'Home Alone' so I thought we would use this to our
advantage and stay here, Do you mind?"
Steph answered quickly "Mind I think it is great (Embarrassed as she thinks
about what she has said) Not that I don't like your kids they're......
"I know what you meant" said Max interrupting Now come here!!
She put her arms around his neck and they kissed again, but this time it was
much more passionate.
They broke away and looked into each others eyes
"WOW" said Steph
"Yeah I know, this feels so right" Max replied
"Does it? Better have another go then to find out for myself!" Said
Steph cheekily
They kissed again then Max remembered the meal, "Oh NO"
"What's wrong Max" asks Steph
"The Meal" he replies as he breaks away quickly and runs into the
kitchen leaving a stunned Steph in the hall way.
"Just in time, that was close!" He said out of breath
Steph walked into the kitchen and saw the dining room table which Max had
prepared for them.
"This is amazing, you've gone to so much trouble, there's candles and
everything, this is perfect" Steph said as she walked towards him with a
smile on her face.
"You're worth it.......Now sit down and get out of MY Kitchen" he
insisted
"OOOOOOOOH! A forceful man and a chef I could get used to this" She
giggles
They have dinner whilst chatting about everything possible including their sad
lives, They can't take their eyes of each other.
Max grabs Steph's hand and says
"You're so beautiful and I can't believe that you are here with me and not
with Alex"
"You better believe it Buster!" She replies with a cheeky wink
"Any way what's for pudding?"
Max kisses her hand and says " That's in the living room, have some
patience"
Steph goes into the living room where two spoons are and an ice bucket with a
bottle of Champagne chilling in it.
Max follows her with a smug grin on his face carrying a tub of ice cream, a bowl
of strawberries and some cream!
He puts them on the table, turns to Steph, grabs and pulls her onto the sofa
where she falls on top of him, She screams but then gets confy with the
postition and they start kissing, emotions heat up and the kiss goes on and on
it seems like a life time.
They finally finish and giggle and then Steph cheekily says " Well, I'm
ready for pudding now, I don't know about you?"
They share the ice cream and the strawberries and cream by playfully feeding each other.
They drink the champagne between kisses and mucking around with cream!
Once they had finished they cuddled up on the sofa in silence, no words were
shared as they were so happy about what was happening.
Steph broke the silence by sitting up and turning to Max and saying
"Thank you for an amazing night Max"
"Has it ended then?" Max answered quickly
"No, I was just saying" Then she saw the glint in Max's eye
She leant in close, kissed him on the lips and said
"I thought you said the kids were staying the night?"

(Next Morning...)
Max woke up and turned over to find Steph smiling at him.
"Good morning" said Steph kissing him on the Forehead
"Morning gorgeous, how long have you been looking at me for and what you
smiling at?" he replied with a smile from ear to ear on his face.
She answered in a soft voice
"You, us, this, last night! I've been awake about 20 minutes and I was just
thinking how amazing this feels, Ive wanted this moment for such a long time and
now its here I don't want it end"
It doesn't have to end, this is just the beginning he said in a reassuring and
loving voice.
He lifted his hand to her face and kissed her cheek then continued
"Do you know your amazing? You still look ravishing first thing in the
morning"
"Isn't my hair roughed up? After last night I thougt it must be!!" She
asked in a curious manner.
They both laughed and then they kissed
"Right" Max exclaimed, "Better go and my girl some
breakfast"
"Your girl is coming with you, you're not leaving my sight matey!"
Max looks and Steph and chucks her one of his T-Shirts and he puts on some
shorts.
Steph is looking in the mirror he walks behind her and gives her a cuddle.
"Look at us" They both look in the mirror of them cuddling
"We make a fantastic couple" he continues
"Do we?" she asks
"Yeah the best" he replies
They go into the kitchen, Max walks over to get the bread, he returns and hits
her over the head with it playfully.
"Right, that's it Mr Hoyland" Steph shouts
And she starts tickling him, the more they tickle each other the more passionate
they get and they start kissing.
Steph looks into Max's eyes and asks "We telling everyone today?"
Max replies with a huge smile "You bet I want the world to know"
