Although I haven't seen the New Seekers since the 1980's I still enjoy listening to their records, Back in the 70's I had a crush on Marty my bedroom walls were covered in pics of him, when I watch the Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD I often play the Streets Of London (Marty) several times before continuing, I just love his voice,

Hi looking for my long lost friend sue who used to come to concerts with me in the 70s. We lived in nottingham and gave a a butterfly necklace which she wore on top of the pops. Have lots of scrapbooks and photos. I dont know but I think somewhere there is a photo of a boy we got to know called nick taken at the Sheffield Fiesta club. Wonder if it is the same nick who has helped to this website. Also a girl called christine. I would love to meet sue again, we used to pretend to be in the new seekers and were just mad on them. Still got LPs and scrapbooks. |

Hello everyone! Just purchased the Peter Doyle Tribute from the heart CD and absolutely love it! Takes me right back to the 1970's era when the New Seekers were at their best with Peter Doyle in the line up. Could recommend it to everyone! And it supports teh Peter Doyle Fund too!! |
