NEWS

14/2/01

I've updated Raii with some information about the new NicksSite desktop theme. And just remember - I haven't included any advertising except in the readme file! (No more desktops with "themesRus.com" all over them :-) )

31/1/01

Hi there, I've been working on the NicksSite unofficial RA2 desktop theme, and I'm almost finished - just a couple more cursors, and if anyone knows where in the Mix files Sofia says 'incoming transmission' (for Outlook Express new mail) and Yuri saying "Predictable" (for a system crash :-) ), could you mail me, thanks.

23/1/01

Hi, Steve Childs has just announced that RAGE will not be completed due to his workloads elsewhere. However, my Mod work on 'Twilight will continue, I'll just have to find out how to add structures etc some other way. If you know any on-line guides for RA2 ini editting, please mail me. Cheers.

Added a link + review for Military Online (TS + RA2 fan site)

Happy New Year everyone! Red Alert Twilight (My RA2 mod) is out! Go to RAII to download!

26/11/00

Sunburn now has its own site for RA2. I am working on a desktop theme for it at the moment, and there will be links to RA2 sites as they come. Click here to go to Sunburn's RedAlertII!
Lastly, CPS have released RAGE, their editor for RA2. What's more, it can also edit RA1 and TS, and is completeley free!

The Nod Cursor Pack is released! Check it out below!

Coming soon... the Tiberian Sun Nod Cursor Pack. I've been working on this for about a month, and I just have four more cursors to go. Unfortunately, the Cursor maker I've got is really poor, (it puts the hot spots in the wrong place,) so if you know of any better freeware or shareware editors other than Andy Bate's one, tell me, or I'll have to put them in 16 colours.

INTRODUCTION

Sunburn is my page about Command and Conquer; Tiberian Sun. There's not much on it at the moment, as I have been working on my mod for it. However, that's not going to well. It crashes Tiberian Sun.

DOWNLOADS

Here are the two things I've made: a very good Nod Cursor Pack, and a not-so-good mod, Sunburn.

NicksSite Sunburn's Nod Cursor Pack (11Kb)

Here it is! The best (in my opinion) Nod Cursor Pack around! Below is a preview of some of the cursors, and there are similar ones, including animated cursors for Help Select, Busy, and Working In Background!

Normal Select, Text Select, Unavailable, Link Select, Handwriting Select

Download the Nod Cursor Pack!

Tiberian Firestorm: Sunburn TS Mod (170Kb)

Here is my mod for you to download. It is not working at all properly, but I've run out of patience with it. Feel free to download it yourself, and play around with it. Maybe I'll come back and finish it one day. IMPORTANT: The main compressed file (sunburn.s2k) needs SunEdit 2K to run. It's free to download from CPS (link below). The rest of the files need to go in your TS directory. This mod requires a copy of TS, and preferably a copy of Firestorm, although it should work just as well (or just as badly) without it, but with less units and structures.
Download Sunburn!
If you are some sort of TS genius, have a look at the except.txt generated, and see if you can find out what's wrong. And if you find out what is crashing, I would very much appreciate you telling me. Same prize as before – first working answer get their name and e-mail (and URL) next to mine on the credits.

LINKS

Here you go; all the links you could ever dream off (if you dream about that sort of thing (and I don't))

www. CHILDS-PLAY-SOFTWARE .co.uk
The home of SunEdit 2K and RedEdit 98, two excellent GUI editors for Red Alert and Tiberian Sun, and now RAGE for RA2. If you want to make all your units cost a fiver, or if you are a TS veteran and want more of a challenge, get these programs!

www. TiberiumSun .com
The official fan site for Tiberian Sun – "TiberianSun.com - #1 website for Tiberian Sun, Renegade, Tiberian Twilight and many more Westwood games."

MILITARY ONLINE
http://www.geocities.com/military_online/

Here is a very good fan site for Tiberian Sun and RA2. See RAII for info about the RA2 section. In the TS section, there is a selection of screenshots from the in-game movies, and information about several units and structures.

AFTERGLOW
http://members.aol.com/ztxjim/glowmain.htm

Another fan site for all of the C&C series: Red Alert and RA2; and Tiberium Dawn, Sun, and Twilight. Includes instructions for adding buildings and units to TS. Very useful indeed, and well layed out.

XCC UTILITIES HOME
http://xcc.tiberian.com

All the Utilities you could possibly need for editing TS and your own mod's graphics and sounds. Essential for anyone serious, and used in the tutorials at AfterGlow.

Nick Petersen's Tiberian Sun Page
http://www.geocities.com/nickstiberiumsunpage

Here is a fan page with a lot of information about the units and structures of TS. The site layout is relatively basic, but has a decent picture of all the units and structures in TS. There is also a page of tips and strategies, as well as a 'hints line' for help with individual missions. It also has a few downloads like SunEdit 2K and Final Sun, as well as all the patches.
11/10/00: The site has been updated, with a much better layout, fixed links to SE2K and the rest, and several new polls to vote about aspects of TS. Worth a look.

Tiberian World
http://uk.geocities.com/bigglukee/

This site by Luke Bigg, includes 9 mods, with several I haven't seen before. It is well layed out, and has a page for SunEdit and other TS-related downloads. There is also a Link List with other sites you may wish to go to

The Troopers [THT]
http://www.thetroopers.org

Wow! This is one of the best TS sites I have seen. It is layed out well and is very dynamic. The Troopers .org is "an online multi-gaming guild," and is well worth a look. It is incredibly professional, and the author(s) have a good sense of humour. And that's what a good webmaster should be like, isn't it :-)

Do you have a TS site that you want me to review? Get it on the form!
