This section is split into 2 main categories, 1 for my open source projects and 1 for my closed source projects. Being an active member of the open-source community and someone that regulalrly visits newsgroups for reference, I feel duty bound to submit some of my source code for other peoples learning purposes. I also feel that it is only right that I should also distribute closed-source applications simply for people to use. |
At current I have 1 closed source application that is for sale on my company web site. It's called nikvue.net, click the link below to find out more. |
| JAVA (J2ME) |
As I also have experience with C++ I thought I would stretch out into JAVA too. And strangely enough it comes across as a mix between VB.NET and C++, which is pretty cool. Certainly very easy to program in anyway. So if you have a J2ME compatible phone check out the programs below! I am primarily developing these for my Nokia 6230, so if you have any problems with these on *your* mobile, please let me know, I would be interested to know if there are any differences between the standard API's between mobile manufacturers. |

I
am currently teaching myself how to program using a variety of different
technologies and languages. At the top of the pile is Visual Basic .NET.
The is a selection of projects that I wish to share as open source, this
section shall get larger as I progress. |

Before
I started teaching myself to program with Visual Basic .NET I was self
taught in Visual Basic 6. I do not have much source code available for
download, this is because I have ceased development with Visual Basic
6. |

Also
if you wish to see further examples of programming in VB6 or VB.NET then
goto Planet Source Code
and look up "Niknak". I have even won code of the month for
my Multi-threaded
port scanner. I still submit examples there from time to time but
at the moment I am concentrating on my web site, but check it out anyway
Planet Source Code is
invaluable for new programmers and experienced ones alike. |
