LibX was my first real COM based achievement when programming in VB6. Using practically every API that I could for sheer speed and stability I managed to make a complete file library system.

Now that I have VB.NET I have ported it as cleanly as I could. LibX will gather files for you and even display common dialogs tailoired to your needs. By configuring supported extensions it will automatically know what files you are after and will do recursive searches for you, utilizing the file operations of the .NET Framework that have superseeded the old API's used in previous versions.

LibX becomes an essential library to be using in practically every application that you use, this version is used in revLog and the older LibX makes dbIViewPro possible, because without, it just wouldn't work. Take a look at it yourself if your a .NET developer.

libX example requires the Microsoft .NET Framework to be installed.

VB.NET Source Code (35 kb)
