PLEASE! HELP US KEEP HOLY TABERNACLE
CHRISTIAN ACADEMY OPEN!
We are seeking contributions to help keep Holy Tabernacle Christian Academy
open and operating at its current level. Like all non-profit organizations, the
economic downturn impacted the enrollment of our school. Currently, we are
$ 150,000.00 short to keep the school operating at its current level, without
eliminating grades and laying off staff.
Since 1996, Holy Tabernacle Christian Academy has provided quality
education to moderate and low-income youth of urban communities of the
Virginia Peninsula. The Holy Tabernacle Christian Academy is a high quality,
private, non-profit, Christian, college-preparatory institution of academic
instruction committed to educating today's youth for tomorrow's society as
scholars, intellectuals, academicians and leaders. Our total mission is to nourish
and cultivate the intellectual, spiritual and social needs of children by providing
the very best academic instruction in a safe, secure and loving environment
conducive to total learning and critical thinking, and encouraging each child to
attain their highest God-given potential and personal aspirations. HTCA students
have consistently scored in the 99th percentile on the Stanford Nine academic
achievement test.
