I have been back up to Welney a few more times for the Dark-breasted Barn Owl this week and extensively photographed the Owls that have been showing along the length of the road past the visitor centre, there is a Barn Owl with a dark wash to the upper breast and the sides of the neck but in my past experience of dark -breasted I do not feel that this is the bird, however I have spoken to a few people who have been happy that this is the bird in question!
