Ivory Gull, West cross, Swansea, South Wales

 

 

I was initially very disappointed after making the long trek for this bird, as it was way off on the outgoing tide, but after a long wait it gave astonishingly close views, sadly the light had failed by then and I had to use some fill-in flash, but the bird was totally undisturbed by it!

Note that on picture 2 the fish still has a hook and line attached, I removed and discarded it properly after the Gull had gone, it is sad that some anglers seem unaware of the damage that this poor practice could cause.
