Who?
Susan Welsh is the Treasurer and Vice President for the Sisters of Mercy
of Americas. She is responsible for finances at the Sisters of Mercy.
While pledging "to serve those in need", Welsh disregards Sisters
of Mercy philosophy.
She initiated unlawful costs cutting measures,
which cause the elimination of overtime pay.
She surely got more then a "comfortable cup of tea" by taking money out of her employees' pockets and leaving them and their children in the cold.
When employees voiced their concerns to the Department of Labor about illegal practices implemented by Welsh, she punished them by
- denying Holiday and Vacation pay to employees who championed womens' rights
- threatening to fire employees who disagree with the management policies
- firing employees who stood up for workers' rights to fair pay for honest day of work
Why?
Why would Welsh knowingly break the law and underpay, punish, threaten and fire
employees under her command?
The answer is simple:
- personal greed
- status and executive perks
- blatant disregard to the law
- disrespect to the working women
- belief that she can get away with anything
Welsh using her position as a Treasurer to protect her own personal financial interests.
She is not helping needy but punishing them for dissent.
Question
Do you want your money being spent defending unfair cause?
It is up to you...
