David, Mo and Malcolm are from Stornoway originaly and are now firmly based in Glasgow. Ruaridh is from the pituresque former whaling port of Bo'ness.

Mo is the only founder member of North Pole Radio - there have been a fair few different line ups over the years. Guitarists have come and gone, singers too; guitarists became singers, bassists become guitarists and sound engineers - over stating the case a wee bittie there - have become bassists. And hey - try as we might to shake him off - Mo managed to cling on.

Our current demo - the name of which changes but will be in the range "Seed: a 5 track demo" to "Seed: an 11 track demo" depending on who we are sending it to and how long ago we made it - was recorded ben the room - one of Central Scotland's most high-tech recording studios....em...well...actually it's a converted bed room and is very much a home brew job. We hope to post some pictures of the "studio" just as soon as we get to grips with the technology.

In a nutshell, songs are recorded on a Tascam 4 track and a PC. The PC is also used to burn our demo CDs. Nicely self contained - which quite suits us for now.
